Whatever you extract with you keep; whatever you’re carrying when you die you can lose (except items in your Safe Pocket). The tension comes from knowing when to push for more loot and when to leave.
Movement and Stamina
- Holster your weapon when you’re not in combat to move faster. Every second counts when you’re crossing open ground or rotating to extraction.
- Manage stamina. Sprint only when you need to. Use Adrenalite shots to recover stamina in a pinch. Running everywhere drains you and leaves you vulnerable when it matters.
- Sound matters. Firing, footsteps, looting, and even shield recharging make noise that can draw ARC and other players. Perks like Gentle Pressure reduce noise and help you stay off the radar.

Combat: Positioning Over Aim
- Use cover and control chokepoints. Don’t stand in the open.
- Hold high ground where you can see approaches and retreat if needed.
- Shape firing lanes so enemies have to push into you.
- Pick fights when they’re worth it. If you’re loaded and near extraction, consider leaving instead of chasing one more kill.
Extraction: How to Get Out
- Elevators are common but broadcast your position. Everyone knows when someone is leaving. Use them when you’re confident or when the timer is tight.
- Raider Hatches are quieter and safer but require keys. Save keys for when you have a lot to lose.
- Don’t be the first to extract if the area is hot—campers often watch elevators. Scout or wait for someone else to draw fire.
- Extract mid-raid when you’re ahead. The final minutes often see every remaining player rushing the same points; leaving earlier can be the smart move.
ARC Enemies and Threat Levels
Get to know the machines:
- Low: Tick, Wasp
- Medium: Turret, Leaper
- High: Shredder, Rocketeer

Squad Play
